We Need You!
We are a small, but very active group of bird and nature enthusiasts. We try to divide our time equally between enjoying the wonderful natural opportunities offered in Vermont and between environmental eductation and protection. Fun tends to win out, but we do get alot done despite our small size.
If this sounds like a group you would like to be a part of, stop by our next board meeting or event. We would love to meet you and hear your ideas of how to strengthen and improve our organization. The meetings events are listed under our Calendar of Events (no meeting in July when we have our annual meeting and no meeting in December).
Our activities are free (occasional park or museum entry fee) and open to the public and you are always welcome, whether you're a member or not.
You can support us by becoming a member! Membership in Rutland County Audubon gives you automatic membership in the National Audubon Society, which includes their award-winning, bi-monthly, magazine. We all want to support local conservation efforts and enjoy our local birds and their habitats.Your membership in RCAS supports us and also helps support the mission of National Audubon on a national level which helps us all.
